Dual-network failover — stay live through dead zones

The single biggest cause of a dead IRL stream is one connection failing at the wrong moment. One Tap IRL can run your WiFi and mobile connections together, keeping a hot backup ready at all times.

Strongest link leads, automatically

The app continuously measures how well each connection is actually delivering your stream and sends the video over whichever link is strongest. If that link weakens, it switches to the other one within seconds — and switches back when the first recovers. You don't touch anything.

Seamless, not stitched

One Tap IRL uses SRTLA over a relay to keep both links registered as a single stream, so the handover is smooth and viewers see continuity instead of a reconnect. The failover is designed to help — it never degrades a good connection by forcing traffic onto a weak one.

When to use it

Enable it when a single connection isn't trustworthy: walking through areas with patchy WiFi, streaming where cell coverage flickers, or any time a dropped stream would cost you. On a rock-solid single connection you don't need it — and the app defaults to reliable single-link SRT.

Honest about the limits

Today this is failover and overflow (reliability), not full bandwidth aggregation — it keeps you live, rather than adding both links' speeds together. True multi-link aggregation is on the roadmap. Marked experimental in-app while we harden it in the field.
